"MEET THE FOUNDER"
Hello everyone! I'm Elizabeth Akins, an aspiring social worker and a passionate advocate for those affected by Sickle Cell Anemia.
My journey has been filled with numerous challenges, and there were moments when I contemplated giving up on life. However, even when I chose paths divergent from faith, I found solace through divine intervention, pulling me out of life's toughest situations.
Overcoming years of battling depression, a pivotal moment occurred in 2017 when I envisioned the need for FREEDOM from various struggles. Recognizing the reality of bondage, I understood that healing was essential for a better life. Drawing closer to surrendering to the Lord marked the beginning of positive changes; inviting God into our situations is key to transformation.
Initially, I hesitated to pursue my dream, creating a logo to share my testimony. Doubt lingered with thoughts of not being ready, as I still grappled with personal struggles. How could I help others stuck in bondage if I wasn't entirely free myself?
Realizing that waiting for perfect readiness was a perpetual cycle, I decided to break free not only from my own struggles but to empower others trapped in similar situations. My journey reflects the powerful message of Galatians 5:1
"We have freedom now because Christ made us free. So stand strong in that freedom. Don’t go back into bondage again.” Together, we will not only break free from years of bondage but do so with style and resilience.
